[solved] No offline work in OL2003

Hi,

on the tools menu in OL2003 the entries for setting up offline work and synchronisation to scalix are missing. First i tried to reinstall the connector, after that i completly reinstalled MS office and the connector. But it doesn't make it better, the synchronisation menu is still missing.

When the user works on a different computer with his profile, everything works fine. So the user's profile seems to be ok and the problem is located at his laptop.

Any idea how to fix this? All computers are running XP with SP3, Office 2003 and Scalix connect 10 with Scalix 10 server; the same anti-virus on every computer, no 3rd party outlook-plugins.

Please try to delete the file C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\.......\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Outlook\extend.dat. Outlook should be closed.

Thanx, but that wasn't the solution. The Scalix-Synchronisation plugin was just disabled in Outlook (Klick on "Hilfe" > "Info")

Now it works again. But i still have no idea why it was disabled...
