Trash gets emptied after offline backup

Hi

After I run an offline backup, all my users trash folders are emptied. How can I stop this happening?

afaik, there is no mechanism that empties trash folders on backup (or stop/restart of the server).

What sequence of commands or what script are you using for your offline backup?
