I'm willing to pay for support on this if that's what needs to be done to get some help.
Having the same error between Fedora and Debian would seem like an incompatibility between a hardware driver in the machine... or an incorrect network setting that I'm overlooking and isn't being reported in the error logs or something.
I've run strace on omlicmon but I'm not a programmer and other than a lot of impressive looking output I have no idea what to do with the information I'm being given.
I've setup a Fedora Core 4 test system here in my office and followed the same procedure I'm using on the offsite server to do a network upgrade to Fedora Core 5 and then install Scalix. My system here works great- but my offsite simply will not run the omlicmon program. I've been able to "reconfigure" all other modules without any problems- but being unable to create the admin or any other users renders the system useless.
Because we're in such a remote area of the US getting a high outgoing bandwidth connection (we only have aDSL available to us here) to host our own local machine is out of the question. If anyone can suggest another hosting company that they've been able to get Scalix working with or has any other suggestions I'd be grateful.
Thanks,
Tim
