Hi Andy!

Check what error is/are there in the fatal log or run the command omshowlog to see what
error has caused Local Delivery to crash?

Have you restarted (omshut/omrc) your server? If so, does the error re-appear after the restart?

Thanks,
Subir

Hi Andy!

Your error is:
SERIOUS ERROR Local Delivery(Local Delivery) 05.16.07 15:59:24
[SYS 2]
File Name: /var/opt/scalix/user/g000038/0000001
Pid of logging process: 27451
Current errno value: 2

The error code "SYS 2" indicates file or directory does not exist, see below:
[root@subir-rhel4 ~]# omsolve -n SYS 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error Group: OM.SYS Error Number: 2

No such file or directory

A file name is specified and the file should exist but does not,
or one of the directories in a pathname does not exist, or a
pathname is too long or is an empty string.

To know the user associated with user folder g000038, run the command below:

Code: Select all

omshowu -O $((32#??))

where ?? is the last letters from your directory, 38 in your case.
If it shows a user, then continue to run omscan for this user, use the steps below:
omscan -Avfx -U <username>/<mailnode>
else, you will see an error that the user doesn't exist. That will then allow you to delete
the folder. Most likely, you will see that /var/opt/scalix/??/s/user/u000038 does not exist,
but that the related folder, which starts with a g, does exist. If you delete the "g" folder,
the error will go away.

Thanks,
Subir
