sxaa & O/R addresses

Postby btisdall » Tue Apr 24, 2007 10:36 am

Hi guys,

Regarding this thread:

viewtopic.php?p=32441#32441

what's the position with sxaa & O/R? The readme suggests that:

Code: Select all

--[forward|redirect] 'S=bar/G=foo/OU1=domain/OU2=com'

should work, but in the case of --redirect no rule is set & in the case of --forward the rule appears to take but on examination merely says 'FORWARD' with no routing information.

Cheers.

Hi Ben!

I tried what you wanted, see I was able to create a redirect rule from sxaa using the OR Addresses.

[root@subir-rhel4 admin_resource_kit]# ./sxaa --user user03 --redirect 'S=user02/OU1=subir-rhel4/OU2=scalix/CN=user02' --retain
[root@subir-rhel4 admin_resource_kit]# ./sxaa --user user03
OOF FLT OLK AANO ACTION TITLE STATE
--- --- --- ---- ---------- ------------------------------ --------
603 REDIRECT SXAA REDIRECT:603 enabled
[root@subir-rhel4 admin_resource_kit]# ./sxaa --user user03 --info 603
Action
------
REDIRECT to S=user02/OU1=subir-rhel4/OU2=scalix/CN=user02
Retain intray copy
[root@subir-rhel4 admin_resource_kit]#

I made sure that I get a response for user02 when I use the string 'S=user02/OU1=subir-rhel4/OU2=scalix/CN=user02' used in sxaa work with -e option in omsearch.

Also check the sxaa file version, the first three lines in sxaa implies the same, for me
the first three lines are:
#!/usr/bin/python
"""
$Id: sxaa,v 1.12 2007/01/17 18:12:16 dkelly Exp $
"""

i.e. for me the sxaa version is v1.12.

Hope this is what you were looking for. :)

Thanks,
Subir

I had sxaa version 1.6, with that version it didn't work. I now used the 1.8 version from the Scalix 10.0.0.5 package, and with that version it works.

This also solves my issue in this topic: http://www.scalix.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=32441

Thanks!

Must've been a typo here - it's working for me now.

Thanks Subir.
