Also, you know.... just reading this particular message and another one to which I have just responded.... I tend to discuss things quite a bit, I have strong opinions on some things, there are lots of things everywhere that I'd like to see improved - many fellows here at Scalix can certainly testify to that - but then...
I fundamentally like people, unless they give me a good reason not to do so. That's true even for the folks working for our competitors, some of whom I always violently disagree with about each system's capabilities or certain archtectural or functional approaches, and I'll fight hard not to lose a single customer to them. Still, I do respect them, and more so the better and more competent they are [won't give you my top-10 on this one, hope you understand....]. After all, it's a lot more fun and learning to compete and argue with someone that you feel is on-par with you. Now, for the respect part, a lot of that has to do with language and how you communicate, especially in writing, where some visual clues as to the persons thought are missing.
Looking at your current posts, I don't see that kind of respect towards anybody here.
With all your complaints, you should also understand that you're getting a free service when you receive support through here, because we fundamentally believe that the community is a vital part of our business strategy. Obviously, sometimes our folks are caught in developing software or talking to commercial customers who pay for support and services and - needless to say - are given priority over forum responses. So I'm very close to just deleting this thread because it doesn't seem to be providing any value to anybody here, and it seems that even some people without the Scalix Logo next to their name would agree.
If you have any more meaningful questions, please go ahead and put them in the appropriate place using appropriate language, and I'm sure you'll receive meaningful responses as well by anyone of our staff looking into this or some other community members who spend lots of spare time here in making this a better product for all our benefit.
Cheers,
Florian.
