I've been the project manager for the Xandros OEM integration on our side.
All I can say is that Xandros have done a tremendous job at making Linux easy to use for the Windows converts. I've been impressed with their desire to make everything feel good, look good and remain well-behaved. I've seen and used it from the earliest Beta buiilds, through release candidates, up to the final build and, from an integrated systems point of view, it really rocks.
You will be able to setup your Xandros OS and Scalix server in less than one hour in total and you'll be good to go. UI is seemless. If you've seen SuSE and YaST and believed that this is a great comprehensive admin UI for Linux, Xandros Management Console really takes it to the next level.
I believe you'll like it. Even though it is a 1.0 and I based on all experience there will be some glitches here and there, in my opinion this sets the new gold standard for admin-friendliness in Linux administration.
You can purchase all of that through Xandros -
www.xandros.com should give you the details; from our point of view it is an oem product, so Xandros themselves and their resellers are marketing the product - while we do provide second level support and will keep the Scalix part of the product up to date going forward.
Enjoy and let us know how it went.....
Florian.
