I have a user that deleted a folder (where most of her mail is stored, as she sorts from the inbox). She deleted (or so she believes) the folder. I cannot find it in Outlook. Not that it should matter, but she was using SWA at the time.
I have looked at my cron logs for omtidyallu and it shows removal of two items from her wastebasket.
I have a tarred copy of everything from the previous night, and THOUGHT I had isdb running (process is running), but I haven't had time to check the logs ( I know, bad admin, but this is 1% of my job) . .I probably didn't do someihing in the 40+ pages of instructions, heh.
So my question is, is there anyway for me to figure out what to restore to get her folder back? If I loose all email from my last back forward is fine (including calendar items, etc), but the structure makes no logical sense (data files tied somehow to other stuff, etc). Sorry, I'm just used to the nice normal linux email world where folders are files and you just restore a file.
I wouldn't normally worry, but this is the Dean of Instruction, and no matter what our policy says about recovering specific items after nightly deletions, I have make a sincere effort. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
