Cannor receive email from outside

Hi there
I can send email to outside world such as yahoo, but I cannot receive email that has been sent from yahoo, or nay mailboxes. And the email didnt bounce back as unsuccessful delivery.

It looks like the DNS issue or firewall issue.

It certainly looks like a DNS or firewall issue.

To be sure, you should...

- from a machine outside your network check the MX records and IP address of your mailserver as seen from "the world".
- telnet my.machine.name.com 25

if this yields no response, try the same on your actual mailserver. you should normal see a response from the scalix SMTP relay.

if this is the case, you will have to investigate on the network side - Scalix is not involved and does not setup any filetering or firewall rules as such.
