Can't login via /webmail

Postby msweeney » Wed Mar 15, 2006 3:10 pm

No matter which account I try, I alwyas get "The username or password is incorrect" However logging in via POP with Thunderbird works.

It appears to maybe be a IMAP problem, since configuring THunderbird to use IMAP doesnt work either. I get stuck on Sending authenticate login information.

edit : forgot to mention, /sac works great

edit2: Here is more info I found in CATALINA.OUT

com.oddpost.soap.SoapFault: faultCode: SOAP-ENV:SERVER.FolderNotFoundException; faultString: can't open folder [#Scalix/Oddpost]

; detailName: FolderNotFoundException; detailMessage: can't open folder [#Scalix/Oddpost]

seems to be a folder that got deleted ou just vanished, would this cause my login problems? WHere can I recreate this folder? /opt/scalix ?

What Scalix server version are we talking about?

What browser are we talking about?

Please provide more detail about your environment.

Thanks,
Don

scalix 10.0.0.343 running on Redhat Fedora 4 32bit

Firefox and IE cause the problem, http and https

I can access the /sac with admin users, however accessing the /webmail is no go, even with a user that can access /sac if they have admin permissions.

Configuring Thunderbird for imap fails, hoever POP works, also the Outlook connector works fine as well, just imap and /webmail are causing problems.

Ok, I got it working, but the "fix" I did is kinda strange.

I changed the users to standard users form premium, and it now works. I rechanged the user BACK to premium, and it still works now, very strange....

any clue as to what might have happened ?
