Hi,

yes, you need Apache2.

Have a look at this thread: http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1634

Cheers,

Sascha.

But, why i dont seen this requirement from Scalix Installer Guide.
Where i can get more detail information about this requirement..?
SImplely, just I uninstall apache and then install apache2? or how...?
And what the mean <name>-cert.pem and <number>.pem during step generating and signing the certificate..? I must create new file for these or what...?

Please help me..

Actually the httpd packet in RHEL4 is Apache 2. What should be installed on your box is something similar to...

Code: Select all

[root@saruman ~]# rpm -qa | grep httpd
system-config-httpd-1.3.1-1
httpd-2.0.52-9.ent
[root@saruman ~]#

The Installer should actually check for the presence of this.

The config directory is /etc/httpd.

Cheers,
Florian.

I have configured ssl by following this link http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1634.
I can access sac and webmail from https. if i login from scalix server and other computer on LAN with linux OS, login to sac and webmail running well, but if i login from other computer on LAN with MS. Windows OS, login to sac and webmail fail (page blank or login page not show). What's problem..?

You are using Windows, that's your problem ;-) Seriously, should be related to cache. Delete the cache and start over.

Cheers,

Sascha.
