switching domain origin for emails

Postby e1kosau » Wed Mar 08, 2006 4:16 pm

Hi,

I currently installed SCALIX and would like to know if there is any option to choose/switch the origin domain (much like in postfix myorigin=domain.com) for all the emails. I want to test SCALIX first in domain "abc.com" for the 1st week and then after that switch the domain back to our original domain "xyz.com"

Is there a way to do this? thanks.

Some more information please. What OS are we talking about? What Scalix version?

Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,

Good, you are on ten. That makes it easier. In the SAC select Settings/Administration. You will see at the bottom of the right hand screen Local Domains. You can add your various domains here.

Then when you select a user you will see at the bottom of the right hand screen Email Addresses. When you select Add Address you will have a drop down list to select the different domains you created. The top most entry is the address for the user. The rest are aliases.

Regards,
Don
