Unable to Modify User

Help!

I have a user defined that I am unable access using SAC, and if I try to use ommodu I get

ommodu : [OM 8040] The user can't be found, or has been deleted.

Here is the output from omshowu:-

Looks like it should be 'channell' rather than 'channel'. Let me know if that works.

Could you tail -f /opt/scalix-tomcat/logs/scalix-res.log and see what the exact error is when the failure happens?

Lets try this a different way...

Bring up SAC. Before you select the user in question press Ctrl+Alt on you keyboard and then click on the Scalix icon in the left top corner of the main SAC window. Then select the user. A debug window will open and you should see you error message returned to the console. To turn the debugger off do the same key+icon combination. Let me know what error is returned.

Looks like the /PD-OF=(UK) East Ilsley/PD-O=Nexsan attributes are causing omshowu to fail in this case. I was able to reproduce it on my test machine here. Could you tell me how that user was created?

Actually, I think that my other sys admin did it. I'll check with him on Mon.

I spoke with the other Admin, and he told me that all that was used to create this record
was the SAC. I guess I'll just remove the /PD-OF and /PD-O attributes. IThis user would
have been created using the 9.4 system. Is this a bug?
