If SWA and SAC are installed on the different machines, what're the Protocals and APIs they used to communicate with scalix server?

What else is scalix providing in terms of supporting all sorts of web clients, including programming languages?

SAC and SWA both run as webapps under Tomcat. SAC is going to use SOAP to communicate with the Scalix server. SWA is going to use LDAP and IMAP.
