Can not send task requests

Postby joako123 » Sun May 09, 2010 1:24 pm

Why does Scalix server block sending task requests in MS Outlook? When I send one it bounces bacK:

----------------------------- ERROR REPORT -----------------------------
Message could not be delivered to the following recipient:

Juan Pablo Possenti / sclx/CN=Possenti, Juan Pablo

because: 'The message could not be delivered to the recipient as the
service level for the user's mailbox doesn't allow that operation' [OM 9344]

Supplementary Information:

The message could not be delivered to the recipient as the
service level for the user's mailbox doesn't allow that operation

The message was forwarded to the local Error Manager:
sxadmin / sclx/CN=sxadmin

hI,

does the user have a service level assigned to them?
omshowu -n "user name"

should show the service level.

There will most likely be rules applied to various queues (omshowrt -q all -d, I think its -d, have a look at the man page for omshowrt) will tell you if rules are applied.
Check the ~rules directory, and check the rule file to see what service levels are set to reject messages.

You could increase the service level for that user?

Mick
