iPhone sync empty PIM after upgrade to 11.4.4 connector

Postby GizmotroniX » Wed Jun 24, 2009 9:57 am

Hello,

after upgrade to Scalix Connect 11.4.4, the sync of iPhone with iTunes gives no error back (with 11.4.3 are always some errors but it worked), but the calendar and the contacts are all empty. In Outlook the are untouched. Seems like iTunes could not access Outlook or something else. Does anyone have experience with iTunes and iPhone sync ?

Now I have restored the entrys from an older PST file but the sync should work as before. A downgrade to 11.4.3 didn't solve the problem. We also tried to clear the sync history in iTunes and replace information on the iPhone from calendar and contacts but if there are contacts or appointments in the iPhone after the sync the will be deleted and everything is empty.

What can we try ? Reset iPhone ?

Please help us, thanks.

Best regards,
Roland

Hello,

is there any chance to sync scalix with my Iphone without Active Sync? We installed 11.4.5 as server and connector and calendar and contacts on the Iphone are empty. With my old nokia E61 everything was fine.

When i create a normal profile with a pst file, sync has no problems as well.

Hello Wolfgang,

as much as i know, iPhone can only sync via iTunes to a PST file. I don't work with Scalix Connector and Outlook. You can find more in the Release Notes of Scalix 11.4.4.

Cheers,
