Postby xtype » Fri Oct 24, 2008 5:15 am

Hi,

i want to migrate dbx files from Outlook Express. Importing the files by Outlook is much time expensive ... is there a better way?

thx

Hi,

thx for your reply.

I already tried to convert the files by dbxconvert, but while importing the file into scalix by using sxmboximp i get an error.

Code: Select all

[root@scalix ~]# sxmboximp -a /tmp/test/Posteingang.mbx -u "Test User" -s
sxmboximp : Input file is not a transaction file

sxmboximp is only designed to handle files created by sxmboxexp, this is a proprietary format. You will have to use an import tool suitable for the type you are importing, most likely you will need a client to import it.

If you can convert to mbox format (seems dxconvert can do that), you can create IMAP mailboxes and use imapsync to do the sync vetween that and Scalix.
