can you shoot me a private message or email and tell me where exactly you got that statement from?

I would also not expect it to be a problem right away and we have anecdotal evidence that it works in general, however it is still not a tested confirmation from our perspective.

please also note that statements about VMWare-type virtualization may be different from those for Xen as VMWare runs an unmodified OS platform.

Cheers,
Florian.

The number of calls we got from Sales people when we were ready to pay after testing the product has made a log of who was asked if xen domains were supported impossible, but I know that I did (person from Alberta and I spoke at length about my configuration comes to mind)

please pm me a phone number for English tech support as any number
I try ends up in the void.

I have a list of issues

1. some but not all users can't set away messages in swa
2. some but not all users get "evaluation expired"
3. some but not all users seem to crash the caldav server
4. once caldav dies it takes swa and sac out with it

I want to apply the 11.4 upgrade asap but I need to know
when I do I will not have a fried production box, I also have
TWO more of our purchased servers to deploy and I'm
getting a lot of feedback from my administration
that they want "our money back"
I don't want to go down this road ...I want to continue
to move into the final phases of deployment and really
need some help.

I think you should really work 1:1 with our support department as something seems to be terribly wrong here.

http://www.scalix.com/support

You should also get in touch with your North American sales rep for further activity; please provide me with your contact details and full issue description via email and i will forward appropriately or check our website for sales contact details.

Tx,
Florian.

I don't think the xen setup is really the problem. We've never had a problem yet with a xen-ified version of an os.

Most things seem solved except for some that i'm looking to get solved

- Sender names in public folders.. (only shows e-mail addresses).
- Outlook crash for certain calendars (some broken reoccuring events).
- Sometimes Attachments appear inside the e-mail, not as attachment anymore.
- Outlook breaks when too many aliases are assigned to a person. (submitted to bugzilla)

I didn't say that the Xen setup causes your issues; I agree I don't believe it has any influence on the below.

I said it is unsupported and we would get back to that point, e.g., with customers reporting performance issues or other low level stuff to support.

On the remaining items, if you need help and investigation and you cannot find it here, again the right way is to open support tickets with our Tech Support Team.

Cheers,
Florian.

I did open a ticket with your teams, emailed the requested logs
and have heard nothing since.

What does this refer to? I found not running away and just filing bug for those minor problems reports works better than randomly shouting that it doesn't work. So far my experience with the dev team are that they are very committed and willing to make the product better. In spite of what is often said in the forums (By people who mostly don't use the search button or read the manual) Florian and the 'invisible people behind the scenes' do a great job of supporting a good product.
