Upgrade Woes SAC works but SWA doesn't

We just updated from 10.0.4 to 11.4.1.11592

I can log into SAC just fine and all of my users are in tact but my problem lies with getting into webmail. It's just not working.

Any ideas on where to start looking.

Plus, we were licensed but we had to update before our PO went through for 11.4 because all of our users decided to update to FireFox 3.

Just thinking out loud here.

Centos 5.2
4GB RAM
Dual Core AMD
RAID 10 w/ 120GB var

It's a license thing, I ran omshowlog and sure enough [OM 8113] License could not be obtained to allow this operation to complete.

All I need is a temp license to get us back up and running and the Purchase Order will be cut today.

I submitted a ticket already and called sales. Lisa used to be our contact but apparently that's the reason it fell through the cracks.

Though it was my license....now I still can not log in and after a reboot I get the message of Administration server is not responding check logs....which logs.

You'll have to be a bit more specific than "it's just not working".

Does the login page not come up?

Can you not log in when it does?

What happens when you try? Error messages? What's in the tomcat and Scalix logs?

Also check with sxlicense that your new license is being looked at...

Sorry, the screens are launching but it keeps telling me that it can not communicate.

sxlicense give could not communicate with license manager

When you first install....SAC works fine but after a reboot...nothing

the services are failing to start after reboot but I'm still getting the password problem but only on SWA

Hay! I've installed a fresh copy of scalix 11.4.1u1 on a debian etch 4.0r4. I've the same problem : I can login to sac (with sxadmin and an user in gru ScalixAdmins) but I cannot login either to swa or mobile or for example /api/userinfo.

seems to be a problem...a big one. It's definitely an authentication problem but where is it breaking?

Here is what we had

Fedora Core 4
10.0.4

went to CentOS 5
11.4.1

rsync -va old server /var/opt/scalis /var/opt

worked like a charm

same IP's and SAC works....but SWA....still says wrong password for the same account

In my system omshowlog displays only warnings, catalina__.log no error, the only error is in

tomcat/logs/scalix-caa.log:

ERROR [GetMemberAccessGroupList.createSOAPResponseMessage:246]

This night I've downgraded my installation to 11.4.0. I've a 11.4.0 installation running fine on a virtual machine and woul'd see if installing that version solves the problem.

After installing 11.4.0 the same problem, loggin fine to sac and no login to other.. reading scalix-api.log I found a java exception about IMAP login and LOGIN protocol. gogleing the forum and I came up to a thread explaining that you have to install the 32 bit version of cyrus-sasl-* lbraries and symlinking libcrammd5, liblogin libplain an libdigestmd5 in /opt/scalix/lib/security/ to the 32 bit version.

In my distribution (Debian Etch) i've extracted the content of these packages to the directory /emul/ia32-linux/

Aftar that all cames working perfectly!! at last for version 11.4.0. I haven't much time to reinstall 11.4.1 and test if it was the problem (I think so, the base system is the same).
