Web and Public Folders

Excuse my total lack of knowledge ... I do not understand public folders and there use ?
In Outlook, none of us have "permission" to create a new folder or use in public folders ? I have set all permissions in sca ?
Is ther a command line to say:

give user1 full permissions to public folders ?

My Idea was to create one calander (group) in public folders, that all staff would use as a company and to be able to see that from the web interface ... Am I missing something .. Is it possible to see users shared calanders via the web front end .. (normal shared calanders working in Outlook, though slow to connact)

Hi dg_w,

Did you see the section in the admin guide about public folders starting on page 145? It explains about creation and permissions etc.

You can make a calendar public folder and web mail users will see it.
