Cannot login to SAC

i'm not able to login to the scalix administration console. I tried already
to change the password with:

ommodu -o sxadmin --authid sxadmin -p <password>

but no success. I found an error into the following log
/var/opt/scalix/wb/tomcat/logs/scalix-caa.log

2008-04-10 17:14:47,582 ERROR [RbacAuthorizationHelper.authenticateUser:92] Exception:
javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials]
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtx.mapErrorCode(LdapCtx.java:2985)

has anyone an idea how to solve the problem?

it is quite obvious, but did you restart ldapmapper?

the ldapmapper is running. Even the authentication for normal user via mail or webclient works correctly. Only the login on SAC doesn't work

did you add the domain name for testing after the sxadmin

There are two accounts where the LDAP authentication can fail: sxadmin and sxqueryadmin.
The sxqueryadmin setup can be fixed with the scalix-installer (reconfigure the Management Services) or by resetting the sxqueryadmin password to the value found in
/var/opt/scalix/??/caa/scalix.res/config/psdata

I tried to do so; changing the password for sxqueryadmin using ommodu and inserting the password found in psdata.

I got ommodu: The user was modified successfully
but nothing changed.

Afterwards I tried with the scalix-installer and I got following error into the log.

CRITICAL Operation failed: Web apps config function configure_res failed: Failed to change password for "query admin" user sxqueryadmin@web.territoriumonline.com. /opt/scalix/bin/ommodu reported the following error: ommodu : [OM 8040] The user can't be found, or has been deleted.

AFAIK the SAC/CAA expects the sxqueryadmin with an authid of sxqueryadmin@fqdn_of_scalixhost.
You may verify with omshowu or omsearch.

Its safe to delete the sxqueryadmin and run scalix-installer to reconfigure.

thx for help, but there is no way. I started the scalix-installer to reconfigure the scalix managment agent.

the process always fail with the following error:

but with omshowu -m web i get correctly sxqueryadmon
