Not receiving emails

About a month ago I stopped receiving emails, all together. I can send out, but cannot receive.

I check my logs (/var/log/maillog) and nothing comes up. I even tried sending to another account on my same server whenever it has to do with my own domain, I get nothing.

What are my debugging options?

Check all your services are running, including sendmail

Check your MX records

See if you get anything with wireshark if someone sends mail to your address

That would start you, at least.

I just finished debugging and boy was it dumb.

There was rule that when deleted, fixed everything. Not sure about the details of the rule, I deleted it before checking where it was filing emails.

This still leaves me with a question. Where could I see logs specific to Scalix that show the files being delivered to mailboxes.

Switch auditing on (omshowaud / omconfaud) and check the audit logs in ~logs.
