Licenses questions

Postby mrezzonico » Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:00 pm

Hi all,

I am planning my installation and I have the following two questions about licenses.

1) I have two premium users: user1 and user2
user2 delegate the permission on his mailbox to user1
user2 is changed from "premium" to "standard".
Is this allowed ?

2) I have two server: server1 and server2
On server1 I install a "Small Business Edition"
On server2 I install a "Community Edition"
I sync (with "imapsync" or with "rsync") the content of all mailboxes from server1 to server2
Is this allowed ?

Thanks for any help. Miche

According to Florian in a bug report I filed, no.

Likely not, but it will depend on how you implement it and the reasons for doing it.

I would suggest you direct these questions to Scalix Sales, however, as they will have the final answers on this. This is something that will need to be run past the legal department as well.
