In October 2007 we planed to use Scalix, but a calendar plugin was missing. So we decided to wait for version 11.3.
But today i ve updated our new scalix server (Debian) from Scalix 11.2 to 11.3 and i can t share my personal calendar?
well, i m disappointed, we were waiting for more then 2months for the CalDav feature, and now it is not possible to share peoples calendar?

How do you use the new caldav plugin now? i have to share my dates with my colleagues...

What client(s) are you using and what kind of calendar do you want to share with whom? I don't understand the usecase from your description.

CalDAV is included in 11.3 and you can access your calendars using CalDAV enabled calendar clients and that's what this feature is all about.

clemens sent me a pm and explained to me that i can allowed other people to read my calendar. I didn t know that - sorry!
I ll search the forum how to allow other users to read my calendar, if i m not successfully, i ll start a new topic. Then i ll be happy that we can use Thunderbird (Lightning) with the new Scalix version. :D

I just downloaded the Scalix 11.3U1 package, linked from the e-mail I got.. (I'm a SBE customer).

Just wondering.. why isn't the Outlook connector included in the package? I know I can download it from the community part of the website, but it seems a bit weird to me, not to include this in the customer package?

It is a separate download link in the email as well. There should be a DL link for RHEL, SLES and for the connector (named Windows, if I am not mistaken).

Hm.. okay

I've received an e-mail when 11.3 was out.. that e-mail does contain a link for the download of the scalix connector.

I also received an e-mail about the 11.3U1 but in this e-mail the download link for the connector is not there. Perhaps because nothing changed in the connector..?

This was a bit confusing, because I already deleted the first message because I hadn't updated yet when I received the second mail. :-)

Thanks.

The only changed component between 11.3.0 and 11.3.0-U1 is SWA. The server and Outlook connector didn't change at all.

I installed 11.3 last night. I received an e-mail "PHONE HOME". According to the release notes, this phone home feature should only be activated for the Community Edition. I use SBE, so I was surprised to receive this message?

that's correct.

can you check the output of 'sxlicense' to see that the system has recognized your SBE/EE license key correctly?

Thx,
Florian.

Indeed it does.

There was no change with regards to PhoneHome functionality in 11.3 or actually for a long time. You may want to restart the server, just to be sure (omshut/omrc) and if you see one again, please contact Scalix support and we'll need to investigate into this on your system.

I did an omshut/omrc this morning. Didn't receive a phone-home message this time, so I think it was a strange incident..
