11.0 to 11.3 Need YOUR Hints

So I need to bite the bullet. We have ONE, yes count 'em, ONE Outlook 2007 user. So I need to plan a Scalix 11.3 update...

I am Scalix 11.0.23 user. So what should be my game plan for the update?? I don't think I can just install 11.3 over 11.0...can I?? And I obviously should shut down all Scalix services before I start??

Any help would be most good!

What OS version are you running now? That will depend if you can do a direct upgrade to 11.3.

When doing an upgrade make sure to stop scalix, scalix-tomcat, scalix-postgres - run the installer - follow the prompts and then you should be good to go.

Check the release notes for supported OS versions for 11.3.

what about my message store? Do I reinstall postgre or not install it all as I install 11.3??

I guess that's my huge question.

You will keep your message store - it does not overwrite that. It will keep postgres as well - so no need to re-install.

Of course you should have a backup in case anything does go wrong!
