Scalix on Fedora 64 bit - problem with cyrus-sasl 32 bit

Postby tdunk » Mon Jan 07, 2008 5:02 pm

Hi

I'm installing Scalix 11.2.0 on Fedora 7 64 bit edition.

Scalix Dependency Check fails on cyrus-sasl-* packages, as the Fedora only have the 64 bit version installed.

On SUSE it should be possible to install the 32 bit versions on 64 bit, but with Fedora I do not get this option.

I have not been able to download the 32 bit editions of the cyrus-sasl-* directly from my Fedora installation and I do not know where else to find and install the packages.

Does anyone know if Fedora 7 supports installation of 32-bit editions along with the 64 bit editions and how do I get and install the 32 bit editions?

Thanks!

http://fedora.is.co.za/releases/7/Fedora/i386/os/Fedora/ works for me. This is an SA mirror, though. Get a full list on http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/publiclist/Fedora/7. Search the mirror until you find the files needed.

You can also download the 32-bit CD/DVD images and install the RPMs from there.
