admin tool to create folders for users mailboxes

Postby nokesc » Fri Dec 07, 2007 7:08 pm

Is there an admin tool (possibly sxaa) that can create folders for a specified user's mailbox? ...

What I would like to do is create 'Spam', 'Possible Spam', and 'non-spam' folders for each user. The easiest way to do this would be to login to each user's account and create the folders but I don't know thier passwords ... I do however have a user with mboxadmin rights I just dont know what how to do it ...

Have you already checked this thread:

There is a perl script that might help, but you have to adjust it for Scalix 11.2 (e.g. sxaa is now in /opt/scalix/bin)

cheers,

Also, just a note.

To create the rule with sxaa, you don't need admin rights.

If there's a rule in place that will move a message to a folder that doesn't exist, such as the first SPAM message. The folder will be automatically created. So you may not need to use mboxadmin at all.

Kev.
