no admin account after succesful installation ! ???

hi folks

after a succesful installation of scalix 11.2 on centos 5.0 I was happy that i could login the the webclient as a normal user and send and receive email.

but I couldn't enter the management console at domain/sac !! wrong password for admin@domain.com

how can i reset my admin password ??

how can i add a user on the cli ?

try using sxadmin as the UserID for the administrator

I did, but I don't understand what means "new authentication ID" ?

I still I didn't got a new password for the sxadmin.
Where are these passwords and users being stored (in cli interface) ?!

How can I reset a password for

1. a normal user ?
2. the sxadmin user ?

Here is a wise advice:
Don't bother trying to understand or use any of the om* scripts at this stage.

Just uninstall the whole thing, remove the /var/opt/scalix directory and start again fresh. It's much faster. Just push the enter key for all the default settings and don't change anything except for committing to a reasonable password for the database when asked (you will have to live with it for a long time later on when you do upgrades).

Also, keep in mind that if this is an "experimental" (demo/trial) system, don't ever expect or count on turning it into a "production" server. Just keep on experimenting until you make your final decision and move to the appropriate hardware configuration on a new fresh installation when the time comes.
