Scalix Installation failed

it should be a new install, but i had many failed installations and i uninstalled all.

i would suggest that you retry from scratch to make sure this is clean

- run the installer and uninstall all packages
- after doing that confirm that no more scalix packages are left with

rpm -qa | grep scalix

- delete all directories:

rm -rf /etc/opt/scalix* /var/opt/scalix* /opt/scalix* /var/log/scalix*

- make sure hostname of the system is consistent in hostname --fqdn, /etc/hosts and is always fully-qualified and in lowercase
- run the installer again with the --debug option

If this fails, we'll really need to dig deep into what's wrong with this system, not sure if we can do that here or if I will have to ask you to purchase an incident and open a support case.

i had the same error.. now i will try suse 10.2 with the 11.1 scalix package..
