New Folder -- Multiple PC

Postby joako » Fri Sep 14, 2007 2:14 pm

1st: Is it OK to use the same scalix user on multiple PC? I want to have it on my desktop & laptop.

Basically I made a new folder Called "W/O Example" as a sub-folder under "Outlook Today"

Now it shows up on my laptop where I created it and so do all the items.

nothing shows up on the desktop. I even created a folder with the same name, it only shows up here as empty folder (because I never put any items in it).

I know probably if I delete the profiles and re-create them it would work but is there another way? Real troubleshooting???

joako -

I have my laptop and my desktop setup and have had no problems - all folders show up the same in each Outlook. Smartcache not enabled on either.

I just installed the connector on my desktop and things were good to go - interesting how yours does not reflect your laptops.

I just wanted to give you insight that yes it does work - maybe Scalix can give reasons as to why its not syncing?

Thanks

Did you create sub-folders under your Inbox or under "Outlook Today"

I am using SmartCache on both machines..... Both of these machines were setup with Scalix before I created the folder... like I said if I delete the profiles and re-create them it would probably work.

"W/O Example"
Just don't use *odd characters* in the name of folders. Definitely not *, /, &
The good practice is [A-Za-z0-9] and underscore instead of space
