http://server/sac doesn't work

Hey,
I tried to setup an scalix server. Intsallation worked fine but if I try to reach http://server/sac
it shows me an 404 error. what failure could this be?

Any ideas?

I also had the same error.

I tried the version 11.1 and it did not work.

Workaround which helped me.

I installed version 11.0.1 and upgreaded to 11.1.

Maybe you could do the same.

There was no manuall edit of ANY files needed for me.

Does anyone have a proper fix for this?

I have 2 Suse10.2 machines, and installed Scalix 11.1.0 on both of them. On the one it works, on the other it doesn't. That REALLY doesn't make sense to me.

The one that doesn't work, is the one I need to work. The working one, is one that I installed on a fresh installation of Suse, which runs in Vitrualbox on my desktop PC, so I can't actually use it.

This is the error I'm getting:

HTTP Status 404 - /sac

type Status report

message /sac

description The requested resource (/sac) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.5.23

And searching this forum brings me no joy. I get 20 pages worth of results, with nothing related to the problem. When I try and goto the next page, I get a message saying "No results found"

Please, if someone can help me, I'd appreciate it a lot. I'm looking at offering scalix as a solution to a lot of our clients, but if it doesn't even work after installation, then I can't recommend it
