i think that i have checked every single thing twice.. but i cannot figure it out.. and i really dont like to reinstall thing.. because i have plenty of data that i would better like in the migration.

Users are verified using email addresses. Can you run "omsearch -s" and make sure the email address is what you're expecting that it should be?

Thanks
Kev.

Hi Kanderson,
First thanks a lot for your reply.. and yes they do come up when i do a omsearch -s .. did a grep on my target.. and found the email address listed.. so when i do that.. it gives me this reply:

Ok.

So if you try to connect for a desktop, what is the response.

Telnet <se.rv.er.IP> 25

Hopefully Scalix SMTP answers. Lets verify that first.

Thanks
Kev.

Yeah i get this answer:

220 ######## ESMTP Scalix SMTP Relay 11.1.0.10849; Tue, 28 Aug 2007 18:36
:25 +0200 (CEST)

So that seems to be a fine valid answer... when i then has send the mail.. i dont see any actions from the smtp server about the mail going into the system.. i only get a response of the error message which i posted before, that the mail was not delivered because of this unknown error.

Lets see a message get delivered.

First I see your router was off. Lets turn that on with "omon sr"

Check that it's running with omstat -s

Then turn on auditing.

omconfaud sr 15 ld 15

and try sending yourself a message.

Then post the results of /var/opt/scalix/??/s/logs/audit

You can turn auditing off again with "omconfaud sr 0 ld 0"

Thanks
Kev.
