WORKED!!!! :-)

I've deleted all old public folders and created new ones, added the mail entries and the email is delivered....

So some facts:

- I've upgraded to Scalix 11.1, the public folders were created with scalix 11.0
- The old email addresses for the public folders had no entries in address book (/EX-CDA-DIRECTORY=1), now they have.... perhaps this was the problem?
- i've noticed that creating the public folders with the addpf plugin creates the folders incorrectly when name contains space characters. I tried to create "Test Folder", the entries for the mail adresses are correctly set but the folders is named "Test" (in SWA and omlistbbs)

Thanks for your support!!!!

Best greetings from Augsburg

Matt

Ben,
btisdall wrote:Regarding mail loops, that's what /etc/mail/local-host-names is for, it lets sendmail know that the host it's running on is the final destination for the domains therein. If sendmail receives a message to one of those domains that it can't deliver to Scalix or a local user it gives up, rather than forwarding on to the MX for the domain (i.e. itself), which creates the loop.

You are correct. I was doing tests by emailing myself. Of course I exist as a local user, so emails addressed to me sent via sendmail were ending up in my /var/spool/mail mailbox. If I setup an email address which only exists in Scalix it does correctly get forwarded by sendmail.
