Migrate Ex 5.5 to Scalix 11

When trying to set up a scalix user as an alternate recipient in Exchage 5.5 to complete co-existence, mail is not delivered to Scalix. I get the error message "Ambiguous Recipient" which makes sense since both have the same name@domain.com.
How do I get past this?

Hi,

The Scalix mailbox should initially have its own unique e-mail address - have a read of the 200+ page Scalix Migration Guide for more details of the recpmmended procedures.
