This almost never has anything to do with the "receiving" side of things. The way to look at this is "somebody is sending them the same email multiple times".
So, the question becomes about the *sender*:
1) is the sender another scalix user on the same server or an external user?
2) what is the mail client the sender is using. Thunderbird is a classic example of an emailer that times out after having already sent the email, but doesn't register the event, so it sends the email again. This may not have anything to do with *your* scalix server.
