omldapsync for another directory other than system?

Postby dwerthmu » Wed Jun 20, 2007 5:40 pm

Is it possible to use omldapsync to sync with another directory other than the system directory? Most of the om commands allow the -d for a different directory.

Seems that omldapsync is just a shell wrapper for omldaputil anyway.

thoughts ?

Hi,

Depending of the sync agreement type, omldapsync uses LDAP or SOAP interface to process the data which unlike the standard om* commands (e.g. omaddent), tend to assume the default directory only. Hence the short answer is 'not really'.

Regards,
Danny
