spamass-milter problem

Hello,

I create this new post for my spamass-milter problem, after I added all contents on
sendmail.cf and then restart the spamass=milter appear following error:

[root@scalix init.d]# service sendmail restart
Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ]
Shutting down sm-client: [FAILED]
Starting sendmail: 554 5.0.0 /etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 1865: milter_set_option: invalid Milter option macros.envcrpt
WARNING: Xspamassassin: local socket name /var/run/spamass-milter/spamass-milter.sock missing
[FAILED]
Starting sm-client: [ OK ]

I use yum t o installed the spamass-milter, so I think the spamass-milter.sock path
is incorrect .

ok, I tried to do add the following line to sendmail.mc,

Xspamassassin, S=local:/var/run/spamass-milter/spamass-milter.sock, F=, T=C:15m;S:4m;R:4m;E:10m

and then make -C /etc/mail

[root@scalix init.d]# make -C /etc/mail
make: Entering directory `/etc/mail'
make: Leaving directory `/etc/mail'

that can successfully to restart the sendmail

[root@scalix init.d]# service sendmail restart
Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ]
Shutting down sm-client: [ OK ]
Starting sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sm-client: [ OK ]

verify the /var/log/maillog.

and cannot sent one message from local user to local user

Typically, you want to send to the top level domain, since your MX record would resolve no-ip.org to leiw.no-ip.org.

Does your /etc/hosts have an entry for leiw.no-ip.org?? If it doesn't add one, and you should be good to go.

I know what you mean , I can sent any email to yahoo or local account, but after

config the spamass-milter I cannot sent any email, no problem about noip.

It's not spamass-milter that is the problem.

If you google the Sendmail error you are seeing in maillog, you will see various possibilities. All spamass-milter does is to scan incoming messages, that's it. Doesn't attempt delivery or anything like that (that's left up to sendmail and procmail).

and how ot test spamassassin mail in scalix ?

I was tried sent a spam form yahoo to scalix server, still cannot block spam mail.
