Scalix & NOD32 AV

Postby Jason Warren » Tue Nov 15, 2005 11:45 am

Hi,
Has anyone successfully used NOD32 AV software found at http://www.eset.com ; to scan email on a Scalix Redhat 3 ES server?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

Best Regards

Clam is well supported, well documented, and works great.

Hi,
thanks for that....could you give me the URL`s for the best "How to`s" on installing Clam AV and are there any "gotchas" to watch out for?
Thanks again.

Setting up Clam

Postby kanderson » Wed Nov 16, 2005 12:27 pm

if you go to the Scalix knowledgebase, and search for CLAM, you'll find instructions in there. It's reasonable straight forward. If you're running Suse, pay attention to the issue of the userID Clam is running under (It's in the doc).

While you're there, I'd suggest also checking on spamassassin.

Kev.
