Spamassassin and amavisd

Postby Hexar » Fri May 11, 2007 6:02 am

What's the relations between this two program? If I want to setup spam filter, do I need to install both or just Spamassassin is enough?

Sorry for my stupid question :)

Hi Hexar!

Why Amavisd?

* Large user community
* Centralised configuration
* Ability to apply site-wide rules
* Works with all major UNIX/Linux MTAs

If you only want only spam filtering, use the manual below to setup spamassassin:

Thanks,
Subir
