suse 10 webmail/sac - can't connect

Postby fralius » Thu May 10, 2007 7:52 am

Hi Guys, First time poster here. Just thought I would also say, Scalix rocks. I'm a Windows convert - and very happy to be salvaged from the Dark Side.

I've been trying to install Scalix on my Suse 10.2 (i know its not supported) box. But for some reason I can't access the /webmail or /sac. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Here is some output from my critical Scalix areas.

Hi!

See if the information in this post helps, which handles the same issue:

Note: There are more than one page.

Thanks,

Hi Subir, Thanks for the quick response.

At the risk of sounding like a newbie I cant seem to see /var/opt/scalix/<instance>/webmail/ or /var/opt/scalix/<instance>/caa/ dir's. Where <instance> = br in my case (blackadder)

Inside /var/opt/scalix/br/ is /postgres /s and /tomcat

Due to the 10.2 Problem I had to do a Manual Install... Any suggestions?

Hi!

What result do you get for rpm -qa | grep scalix?

Thanks,
Subir

It seems that the ports arent doing what they should. I'll try setting the user accounts again, as described in the Manual Installation of Scalix

the lsof command will only display all available information when run as root.

Please re-run as root.
