Directory name to User ID

Postby e37 » Wed Apr 18, 2007 10:15 am

Is /var/opt/scalix/ml/s/user/ the location of user inboxes? If so, is there a way to link the directory names in this directory to user id's/names?

If you do

Code: Select all

omshowu -n "User Name" -f
you will see an entry for User Folder

Thanks Shredder.

That works great. Seems that I should start looking at using the om* tools, seem like a lot can be done with them.

Maybe you have an idea on what's going with my issue.

I made another post about emails disappearing and I mentioned that they might have been POPed of but it appears that is not the case.

Anyway, now that I found this folder, I can troubleshoot a little more. Do you know what the purpose of the imap-cache folder is? Also, should I worried that there is about a month period between timestamps on the files in this folder?

I'm hoping to be able to provide some kind of idea on how these emails disappeared, either deleted or POPed off.

The imap-cache folder is used by SWA to help with the initial loading of the panes. They can be deleted (the files, not the folder) and SWA will recreate them.

I would think that trying to find out how they were deleted/removed would be real tough after the fact.
