OpenLdap Adding new domains not allowed

Postby nwilson » Tue Mar 27, 2007 11:57 am

Hi there,

I'm running scalix-core-intel-suse-10.0.1 with an openldap back end on SLES 9.

I've now got to add additional domains to my server and I can't, I currently have a license for 50 premium users, and I've already got 5 domains.

When I log into the SAC and try and add the new domains I click "Add domain" and I can type the domain names in, but the "Save changes" button is greyed out.

To me it sounds like I can't add them, because I'm using openldap, because I add my users through ldapadmin.

Any idea how I can add more domains, the current domains are the ones that were setup originally before I added all of the users.

Thanks.

Neil

Server licenses include domain information. I suspect that if you request a new license which reflects the additional domain, this will resolve your problem.

Speak to your reseller, or PM me directly.

Kev.

I've been in touch with our reseller here, and they've told me what to do.'

Thanks for the prompt assistance.

Hi Kevin,

One more question, do I have to upgrade to 11 to use it, or will it work with my
existing Scalix-10.0.1, also can I apply the new license on an active server, will it affect
the users if I do it while they are using Scalix?

Thanks.
