integrating clamav to fight against virus

it seemed, i am a poor guy....

however, the clmdscan issue is solved when i put AllowSupplementaryGroups yes in clamd.con. see the out put below -

subir, is that working in your testlab when u r working with rhel 4 and clamav?

I am working with in rhel4 update 2 platform – kernel 2.6.9-22.EL. See the output below -

[root@atanu ~]# lsb_release -a

[root@atanu ~]#

Downloaded the following scalix software.
scalix-11.0.2.1-GA-core-rhel4-intel.gz
We will be using the following clam softwares -
clamav-0.90.1-3.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamd-0.90.1-3.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamav-db-0.90.1-3.el4.rf.i386.rpm

The scalix software is copied to /var/ directory and extracted there. A scalix-11.0.2.1-GA directory is created from where I run ./scalix-installer – accepted the license aggrement – select all the softwares.
There is no error in the system check window – please see the following screen shot -


Accepted all the default setting. In the License Activation Window, I copy and paste the license supplied to me and click “Forwardâ€

take your time. if you find the solution, please let me know.
i am repeating, i am working with trial license, that will be expired on 5th april this year.

however, i think i would better leave the clamav part here and test other features. what do you think?

Continue exploring Scalix, let me tell you the fact that Scalix-ClamAV has nothing to do with license.
