can not crate a user

Postby rgrasser » Tue Mar 20, 2007 3:15 am

Hi,

I am new to scalix and I did a lot of testing with users, public folders, forwarding and so forth. Know I wanted to clean out my scalix and did something wrong...i guess. I deleted all my public folders and user accounts. After that I was not able to create 2 users...scalix told me that they already exist. The command opdopt all gave me this result...those are the users (except sxadmin, sxqueryadmin) I can not create anymore:

*********************************************************
*** Optimising All Personal Directories on the System ***
*********************************************************
sxadmin /scalix/CN=sxadmin ... [OM-ID 101] No Personal Dirs

sxqueryadmin /scalix/CN=sxqueryadmin ... [OM-ID 102] No Personal Dirs

Bettina Muetzel BMU. /scalix/CN=Bettina Muetzel/S-TX=Mützel/CN-TX=Bettina Mützel ... [OM-ID 120] No Personal Dirs

wir /scalix/CN=wir ... [OM-ID 130] No Personal Dirs

*********************************************************
*** Complete ***
*********************************************************

Is there a way to clean out everything in scalix and start from fresh without reinstalling?
How can I clean out this user entries?

Thanks for any help!!
Rene

Hi Rene!

To see the list of users on the server, you can use the command "omshowu -m all" and to
see the details of a particular user you can use "omshowu -n <username>/<mailnode>".

To delete a particular user, use the command "omdelu -n <username>/<mailnode>".

Thanks,
Subir
