I want to install only Scalix Web Access

Hi,

I have SMTP and IMAP server running so I just want webmail function from Scalix.
I just installed Scalix Web Access and dependencies for that.
I can access SWA through web-browser but I can't login.
The error says that the evaluation piriod is expired.
I'm using community edition so I don't have any license.
What should I do?

You can't. Scalix web mail only works with the Scalix IMAP server.

oh, OK.

I just use scalix server as mailbox server.
So I need to scalix to send all mails to smtp gate way server becase the scalix server can't look up external dns.
How can I set it up?

Hi!

What components you installed while setting up Scalix Server, you could refer to the install
log that gets prepared in /var/log/scalix-installer-*.log

Hi,


I installed all components at last.
but the server on which I installed scalix does not have an access to internet.
so the server can't send any email to anywhere but local.
I think I need to set up smarthost but I don't know how.
I've read administration guide and stuff but I'm not succeeded yet.
I simply want to configure scalix server to send all email except local to mail gateway server.
What I did so far was I edited sendmail.cf and om_sendmail.cf and stuff but it is not working. How can I set it up as I want.
