error queue not reflected in SAC

Postby eddieedwards » Tue Feb 06, 2007 1:33 pm

While setting up Nagios to work with Scalix, I notice that my error queue has quite a number of messages in it (700+). The SAC interface, however, does not reflect this (so I have no drooly GUI to flush the queue with). Is there a command besides omqdump and omresub I should use to try to clean this queue out?

Thanks,
Mike

You are looking for omqdump. However, this is a dangerous tool, if you use it incorrectly. But it will do what you want.

It requires a password to use, but that has been posted on the forum before (do a search for omcontain). The same caveats as for omcontain applies.

I know of omqdump, but was hoping for something less "dangerous". I am surprised the queue does not appear in the SAC.... Thanks for your help!
