Problem with French characters

Finally I've got my Scalix server running and nearly everything works fine for our 11 users.

Yesterday one person detected a big problem:

Everytime she writes an email (in Outlook) including french characters, they are displayed correctly in Outlook sent items and internal email to other Scalix users. But as soon as she sends it "outside" the company to our customers they tell us they get only "weird symbols".

Can you help me to find the problem? Where can I make the correct settings to get also the full french character set for outgoing messages (we are writing and getting email in french, spanish, german, english and sometimes chinese & japanese). Incoming messages are displayed correctly so far.

Is this Scalix 10 or Scalix 11? What version of Outlook is she using? Are you sure you're not using a weird character set enconding setup in Outlook? (One can do that...)

It is Scalix 10 and she is using Outlook 2000. I will tell her to check this in Outlook. But the weird thing is, that we (internal) are able to receive her mails correctly...

(We also tried to send HTML email instead of Text to solve the problem, but there is no response from our customer yet.)
