Scalix 11 install went perfectly - but...

Postby arnaudsj » Mon Jan 15, 2007 11:22 am

Hi,

I just performed a clean install of Scalix 11 GA on CentOS 4.4 x32. I already had performed an install a couple of months ago when Scalix 11 was still beta and had gotten everything to work after a few tweaks. This time though, everything went great, no errors and it was up and running in about 20 min.

Only problem, I can't access the web based interface! Tomcat is running, along with everything else, but when I try to bring up scalix.mydomain.com I get the default Apache page for CentOS... Any ideas how to troubleshoot here to find out what went wrong?

Thank you in advance!

Thank you! I feel like an idiot but it worked...

Any reason why Scalix is not shipping with some kind of redirector from the root folder of the domain to the default webmail interface?

Any pages you have preconfigured on your system (eg. a full intranet web page with links to statistics, etc) may then stop working completely. I would prefer they don't do this, but it depends on the specific server and its configuration.
