mail rejected at 95% of quota?

Ive set the "Reject Percentage" in SAC to 100% and the "Warning Percent" to 80%.
Today I had a user get a rejection (the really descriptive: [OM 9344] about service level), but when I checked the users account SAC only reported 95% of the quota. ??? I bumped the quota up for now, but why was the message rejected in the first place?

Hi!

The message that got rejected might be of larger size than the available quota of space so the message could be rejected.

Another thing that you could do is run omscan in active mode to dtermine the real size of the mailbox, use the commands below:

Code: Select all

omoff -d0 omscan 
omscan -Z     
omon omscan 


You need to watch the status of the omscan process using the command:

Code: Select all

omscan -t

Wait until you get a message that says "Current server cycle not started;
service reset or delayed".


Now, view the mailstore size in active mode use the below given command:

Code: Select all

omscan -A
