Custom Forms in Public Folders

right now Scalix doesnt support Custom (Personal) Form in Public Folders, or?
If the answer is no - will it support in future?

Obviously, a lot of what we do in this depends on customer demand. This particular feature has not been requested by many customers, in fact, you're one of the really few mentioning it; we'll take your point on it and collect further data.

So far, it is not planned for any particular release.

may you have a recommendation for another ProjectManagement Suite that integrates well with outlook (or general)?

Hello Florian,

from what i see ( :- ), it shouldnt be "so hard",
the installation of inloox works => means all the files and folder structures get installed in the Public Folders.
The Problem is the the Client Stuff is triggered by the Custom Form Name. So Outlook doesnt use the Plugin/Forms, it uses the standard Task Form.

If you want to have a look inside, i can give you access to our eval server with outlook connector.

does anybody have experience using inloox in combination with scalix? Does it spend a possibility to use personal forms in scalix for a whole group or is it limited to only one client?

hi jonas,

i didnt got inloox running in workgroup configuration with scalix,
because scalix does not support custom forms.

But Inloox will release a new version in q1, that has a database (oracle, access.... and mysql!) backend.
then there is no need for custom forms anymore, and it should work with scalix :-)
